GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
One of the ways we promote living like Darian is through giving back to our community for those in need and providing scholarships to those exemplifying kindness and inclusion.
COMMUNITY CARE GRANT
Our foundation wants to give back to the community. If you or someone you know has experienced a family tragedy, death, or major illness, please write to us and tell us your story. We would love to help ease the financial burden that these hardships can bring.

We are happy to share news that we have awarded a total of $25K in Community Care Grants to five local families who were struck by tragedy and were in need of some financial assistance. We hope and pray that this eases the burden and helps these families in their time of need.

DARIAN LOCKLEAR MEMORIAL HOCKEY GRANT
Thank you to all who have supported this initiative in the last several years. The funding for these grants has been fully distributed to various Michigan players and teams. We are happy to say that about $35K in hockey grants was distributed in the last three years.

DARIAN LOCKLEAR KINDNESS SCHOLARSHIP
The Darian Locklear Kindness Scholarships are awarded annually to Livingston Country High School seniors who have been selected for their ongoing commitment to kindness. Between 2019 and 2023, we have awarded about $35K in scholarships to several deserving students. To apply for 2023 scholarships, please use the below application and email all required information to thedarianlocklearproject@gmail.com.
